Principal Activities, Products and Services

Our activities cover:

• abattoiring (both traded and service-processing of lambs/sheep, goats, cattle and deer);

• wholesaling and distributing:

• manufacturing by-products; and

• producing and marketing a range of skins and hides.

As the only NSW meat processor capable of processing all livestock species simultaneously, we are one of the most efficient meat processors in the state. Weekly production currently averages some 15,000 lambs/sheep, and 2,000 cattle.

	The Burrangong name has high recognition in the wholesale and retail markets, partly due to the long record in the industry, but reinforced by a deliberate branding and promotional strategy.

At the quality end of the market, our Pastoral Prime brand is focused on supplying our customers with a consistent quality, premium meat product, with all product and processes strictly quality controlled and assured directly from pasture to plate. Our Pastoral Prime product is closely monitored and verified by independent academic testing. It is superior to generic product, with outstanding meat pH, colour and tenderness levels.
